Superintendent's Newsletter

December 21, 2020

Good afternoon. This letter is to inform hou that the La Moille School District will begin the second semester with remote learning beginning on January 5 through January 8, 2021. In person classes are scheduled to resume, district wide, on Monday, January 11, 2021. In person attendance will operate on the 12:26 pm dismissal time.

The district is following the advice of the Illinois State Board of Education, who has encouraged districts to consider remote learning following winter break, i order to reduce the likelihood of students and staff who may have unknowingly contracted COVID-19 during the holiday. In addition, the use of remote learning provides a full ten days of reduced school exposure following the New Year holiday.
